Simmons Awards Record $219,550 Through M.H. “Bill” Simmons Memorial Scholarship Program

SILOAM SPRINGS, AR (August 27, 2026) Simmons Foods has awarded $219,550 in scholarships to 118 students through the M.H. "Bill" Simmons Memorial Scholarship program. The 2026 awards represent the highest annual amount distributed in the program's 47-year history.

The scholarship program supports children of Simmons team members and growers pursuing vocational, technical and college degree programs. Mark Simmons established the program in 1979 in memory of his father, company founder M.H. "Bill" Simmons.

"This program reflects our longstanding commitment to the families who help make Simmons what it is," said Mark Simmons, Chairman of the Board. "We are proud to invest in these students as they continue their education, pursue their goals and prepare to make a difference in their communities."

Since its establishment, the M.H. "Bill" Simmons Memorial Scholarship program has awarded more than $2 million to over 1,500 students.

The scholarship is part of Simmons Foods' broader investment in education and workforce development. The company also offers paid internships, tuition reimbursement, on-the-job training and leadership development programs for Team Members.
