EU stellt weitere Soforthilfe für die Ukraine bereit
Angesichts des anhaltenden russischen Bombardements auf die ukrainische Infrastruktur und dem Stromausfall für Millionen Menschen bei eisigen Temperaturen hat die Europäische Kommission 153 Millionen Euro an Soforthilfe angekündigt. Der größte Teil davon - 145 Millionen Euro - fließt in humanitäre Hilfe für die Ukraine wie etwa Nahrung, Unterkünfte und psychosoziale Unterstützung; 8 Millionen Euro sollen bei der Aufnahme von Geflüchteten im Nachbarland Moldau helfen.
