ATLANTA, GA - Today, Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper has announced that Stuckey's Corporation, based in Wrens, Georgia, is voluntarily recalling select pecan log roll products due to a labeling error. Specifically, "Cherry Pecan Log Roll" items were mistakenly packaged in "Original Pecan Log Roll" wrappers that failed to list cherry as an ingredient.
"Protecting the safety and well-being of Georgians remains our top priority, and we are grateful the establishment pro-actively alerted us to the potential issue so we could take corrective action," said Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper. "Our food safety team works with state, federal, and industry partners to identify potential risks, respond swiftly when issues arise, and ensure that products on store shelves are safe, wholesome, and held to the highest standards."
