Draft 2028-2037 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Assignment of Local Input Points on Regional Projects Now Available for Public Review

The Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) announces the draft assignment of local points on regional projects in now available for public review and comment.

The assignment of local points for regional roadway and rail projects is an important step in communicating the MPO's priority projects for funding consideration in the process of developing the FY 2028-2037 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP).

The draft point assignments and associated public input survey are available at www.guampo.org.

The public comment period is open through Wednesday, August 5. Public comments may be submitted by the following methods:

A virtual public meeting will be held on Thursday, July 23 at noon to review the points assigned to specific projects of regional significance. Register at www.guampo.org.

The MPO's Transportation Advisory Committee is scheduled to consider the plan for adoption at its August 12meeting. Additional details will be posted on the MPO website.

The Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is responsible for regional transportation planning for highway, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian facilities.
