Untimely Death Investigation in Peterborough, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that members of the Attorney General's Office and the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are responding to a report of an untimely death in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

At around 8:30 p.m. this evening, local law enforcement responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Grove Street. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male deceased in the driveway with what appeared to be gunshot injuries. An adult male resident of the home was also located suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Based on the investigation to date, the incident appears to have involved an interaction between the two adult males. There is no known threat to the public at this time.

The exact circumstances surrounding this incident remain under active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
