Islanders are being invited to take part in this year's Jersey Opinions and Lifestyle Survey, which launches on Thursday 11 June.
Run each year by Statistics Jersey, the survey helps build a clear picture of what life in Jersey is really like. It gives Islanders the chance to share their views and experiences, helping shape decisions about public services and future policies. The results are used across government to better understand what matters most to people and where improvements are needed.
This year's survey covers topics that affect daily life, including voting, the cost of living, wellbeing, education and health.
From 11 June, the survey will be sent to 4,000 randomly selected households. It's straightforward to complete and can be done on a smartphone, tablet or laptop.
All responses are strictly confidential and only used to produce anonymous statistics. To make sure a good mix of people take part, the person in the household with the next birthday is asked to complete it and they must be at least 16 to take part.
Chief Statistician Ian Cope said: "This survey is a really important way for us to hear directly from Islanders about their lives, their experiences and what matters to them. The results help shape how policies are developed and how services are planned, so it's vital that as many people as possible take part.
"If you receive an invitation, I'd strongly encourage you to complete it. It's a simple way to make sure your voice is heard and reflected in decisions that affect the Island.
"I also want to reassure everyone that all responses are anonymous and protected by law."
Those selected to take part have an initial deadline of 26 June to complete the survey. The results will be published in December 2026.
