Senator Hughes Announces Over $2.2M for Youth Services, Public Safety, and Community Support in Philadelphia and Montgomery County

June 10, 2026 - Today, Senator Vincent Hughes announced more than $2.2 million in new Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) funding to support a range of programs across Philadelphia and Montgomery County.

The grants will expand violence prevention initiatives, strengthen support for vulnerable youth, enhance services for victims, and improve behavioral health and substance-use prevention programming.

"Serving and uplifting young people and our communities requires real investment," said Senator Hughes. "These funds are going to organizations that are doing the tough, hands-on work every day. They are building safer neighborhoods, supporting youth to find a better path forward, and ensuring victims and families have the resources they need."

The following projects were awarded PCCD grants in Philadelphia and Montgomery County:

State Violence and Delinquency Prevention Program Funds

  • Building Our Lives Together, Inc. - BOLT Youth Leaders Fellowship
  • Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - Scaling Protective Social-Emotional Skill Building
  • Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center - Promoting Safe Behaviors for At-Risk Youth
  • Public Health Management Corporation- Fresh Start
  • Support Center for Child Advocate - Project PROTECT's Youth Survivor Advisory Board
  • The Lighthouse, Inc. - The Lighthouse Alumni Leadership Track

State Act 80 Funds

  • Montgomery County Commissioners - Montgomery County Correctional Facility MAT Care C

State Endowment Act Funds

  • Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center - Advocacy Services for Victims of Abuse
  • Philadelphia Children's Alliance - PCA Medical Liaison Position

Endowment Act - DVSOs (Category 4)

  • Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, LLC - Child Abuse Treatment Project Service Enhancement
