June 10, 2026 - Today, Senator Vincent Hughes announced more than $2.2 million in new Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) funding to support a range of programs across Philadelphia and Montgomery County.
The grants will expand violence prevention initiatives, strengthen support for vulnerable youth, enhance services for victims, and improve behavioral health and substance-use prevention programming.
"Serving and uplifting young people and our communities requires real investment," said Senator Hughes. "These funds are going to organizations that are doing the tough, hands-on work every day. They are building safer neighborhoods, supporting youth to find a better path forward, and ensuring victims and families have the resources they need."
The following projects were awarded PCCD grants in Philadelphia and Montgomery County:
State Violence and Delinquency Prevention Program Funds
State Act 80 Funds
State Endowment Act Funds
Endowment Act - DVSOs (Category 4)
State Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction (SAEDR)
