A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students reflected on their patient care experiences and expressed them through impactful artwork showcased at the annual DPT Art Show on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025.

Organized by Jeffrey Andrion, PhD, PT, MA, associate professor, and hosted by the A.T. Still Memorial Library, the show challenged students to interpret complex case studies through the visual arts. This year's theme was "Vulnerability and Empathy: Understanding the Human Experience Through the Arts."

Additionally, the library revealed and presented three art pieces created by ATSU students, which have been permanently added to the library's art wall collection.

By delving deeper into the emotional aspects of the patient experience, students strengthened their understanding of whole person healthcare and highlighted the importance of empathy in clinical practice.
