On February 5, 2026, H.E. Mr. Jia Guide, Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other International Organizations in Switzerland, met with H.E. Ambassador Mr. Carlos Mario Foradori, Permanent Representative of Argentina to the UN Office at Geneva.

Ambassador Jia Guide stated that, China and Argentina have deepened mutually beneficial cooperation across various fields, and maintained sound coordination in international affairs. As the global landscape undergoes profound changes, China will further advance the implementation of Global Governance Initiative, and stands ready to strengthen communication and cooperation with Argentina on the multilateral platform of Geneva.

Ambassador Foradori said that China has achieved amazing accomplishments through rapid development. Argentina attaches importance to the development of Argentina-China relations, and is willing to maintain close communication and cooperation with China.
