Mercyhealth staff to receive Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin award

Mercyhealth is excited to announce that two members of the Mercyhealth coding and billing team will be honored with the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) Interdisciplinary Care Partner Award Tuesday, September 29, 9:30 am, at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center, 1000 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, conference rooms 1128 A and B.

The PSW Interdisciplinary Care Partner Award is presented to an individual, group of individuals, or organization who has recognized the value of pharmacy professionals in having a positive impact on patient care. The partners have positively interacted with pharmacy professionals and has regularly promoted their presence and active participation in the delivery of patient care through their involvement with interdisciplinary care teams and/or their roles as best providers of a given task or service. The recipients must be non-pharmacy professionals.

This year the award will be bestowed on Mary Enyart, Mercyhealth Manager of Coding, and Madalyn Mucha, Mercyhealth Medical Coding Auditor. Their partnership with Mercyhealth's clinical pharmacy team has helped advance pharmacist-provided patient care through expertise in coding, compliance, documentation and revenue cycle processes.
