Registration is open now through Wednesday, October 22.
DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie Police Department has partnered with Dr. Erica Garcia from Cooper City Animal Clinic to offer free microchipping services on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for residents interested in pet identification.
Microchipping will take place at Robbins Lodge Park located at 4005 S. Hiatus Road, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free service is available for Davie residents only. Registration is required.
To register, please visit www.davie-fl.gov/Microchip and complete the form by October 22, 2025, at 5 p.m. Applications submitted after the registration period will not be accepted.
Microchipping is acceptable for the following pets:
Horses | Birds |
Dogs | Tortoises and Turtles |
Cats | Snakes |
Rabbits | Lizards |
Ferrets | Other Livestock |
Residents can bring up to four pets per household. Pets must be secured on a leash or carrier.
Participation Requirements:
Residents must bring the confirmation email of registration and a proof of Davie residency (photo ID and a document that shows their official address, such as a tax bill, a TRIM notice, voter registration, utility bill, or another official government-issued document).
Pets will be microchipped with a BuddyID and will receive access to free lifetime basic registration with no annual fees. To complete your pet's registration, visit www.buddyid.com/register.
