Senate confirms former Representative and RPNM Chairman, Steve Pearce, to lead the Bureau of Land Management: Washington, D.C. - After last week's procedural vote to advance Steve Pearce's nomination, the United States Senate held a final confirmation vote today, formally confirming him as director of the Bureau of Land Management. RPNM Chairwoman Amy Barela issued the following statement: "I am thrilled to see the U.S. Senate officially confirming Steve Pearce as the Director of the Bureau of Land Management today," said Chairwoman Barela. "With Steve's immense experience in the oil and gas industry, he will bring much-needed experience to this position, and I am confident the bureau will thrive under his leadership.
