KazTransOil JSC reduced energy consumption by 2.5 % in first nine months of 2026

/KASE, October 16, 2026/ - KazTransOil JSC (KASE ticker - KZTO) announced the following:

In the first nine months of 2026, KazTransOil JSC reduced its total energy consumption by 2,260 tonnes of coal equivalent (tce), or 2.5%, compared with the same period in 2025.

Over the reporting period, specific energy consumption per million tonne- kilometres of oil transported decreased to 3.3 tce, down from 3.4 tce in the first nine months of the previous year.

The economic benefit from reducing specific energy consumption during the reporting period amounted to KZT 354.919 million.

KazTransOil JSC also achieved substantial savings in petrol and diesel fuel consumption in the first nine months of 2026. Petrol consumption decreased by 22.5 tonnes, or 15%, compared with the same period last year, while diesel fuel consumption fell by 293.5 tonnes, or 11.6%.
