Attorney General Liz Murrill's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit arrested a woman for defrauding the Louisiana Medicaid program of more than $68,000.

On March 31, 2026, Mylanta Denise Cephus was arrested without incident in East Baton Rouge Parish for:

  • 1 Count: La RS 14:133 - Filing or Maintaining False Public Records (Felony)
  • 3 Counts: La RS 14:70.1 - Medicaid Fraud (Felony)
