Meeting of the Council for Cossack Affairs Presidium

Attending the event were Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Yury Chaika Chaika YuryPresidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District , Deputy Head of the Government Executive Office Denis Molchanov, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Alexei Besprozvannykh Besprozvannykh AlexeiGovernor of the Kaliningrad Region , Chairman of the Synodal Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church for Cooperation with Cossacks Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, Ataman of the Russian Cossack Society Vitaly Kuznetsov, as well as deputies of presidential envoys in the federal districts, representatives of federal executive authorities and state authorities of constituent entities within the Northwestern Federal District, atamans of military Cossack societies and Russian public Cossack associations, clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church, and others.

Participants of the offsite meeting discussed issues related to the involvement of Russian Cossacks in the special military operation, the upbringing of the younger generation based on the finest examples of Cossack cultural and historical traditions, and the development of international cooperation with descendants of Cossacks living abroad.

Appropriate decisions were adopted following the meeting.
