The City of Chula Vista is announcing its holiday operating schedule, including public counter hours, Chula Vista Bayfront Shuttle service, and changes to trash collection during the upcoming holidays.
City Facility Holiday Hours
City Hall, Civic Center, Chula Vista Animal Services, and Public Works public counters will close early at 3 p.m. on:
City offices will be closed on:
Essential public safety services such as police, fire, and emergency response will continue to operate without interruption. Public Works Department services, including streets and sewers services, will be available on an emergency-only basis.
While City offices are closed, many services such as bill payments, permit applications, and report filings are available online at https://www.chulavistaca.gov.
Bayfront Shuttle Holiday Schedule
The Chula Vista Bayfront Shuttle will not operate on Christmas Day. Regular service will resume the following day.
Trash Collection Schedule
Trash collection will be delayed by one day if your regular service day falls on or after a holiday during the same week. Residents are encouraged to place carts at the curb on the adjusted service day to ensure collection. For more information, visit Republic Services.
