County Board of Ethics meeting Oct. 8 canceled due to technical issues
The County of Maui Board of Ethics meeting scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Oct. 8, 2025, has been canceled because of technical issues with the distribution of the meeting agenda.
Board of Ethics Executive Director Legal Counsel Lauren Akitake said automated email notifications were not sent when the meeting agenda was posted as required by the state Sunshine Law.
"Board of Ethics staff is working with our agenda distribution vendor to prevent future technical issues," Akitake said. "We appreciate the public's patience."
The next scheduled Board of Ethics meeting is Oct. 22, 2025. The agenda for the meeting will be posted pursuant to the Sunshine Law. To view meeting agendas, visit https://www.mauicounty.gov/170/Board-of-Ethics.
