The Brentwood Police Department Youth Academy gave local teens a behind-the-scenes look at the many responsibilities of law enforcement while helping them develop valuable life skills.
Throughout the academy, participants experienced hands-on activities, including mock traffic stops, crime scene investigations, evidence collection, dispatch operations, building searches, and much more.
Along the way, they learned the importance of teamwork, communication, leadership, responsibility, and serving their community.
The goal of the Youth Academy is to build positive relationships between our officers and the next generation while providing an unforgettable experience that offers a realistic look into the profession.
