Lincoln Electric introduces the Frontier® 500X, a high-performance engine-driven welder generator built for demanding jobsites. With up to 525 amps of output and 20 kW of continuous three-phase power, the Frontier 500X is ready for any task in any environment-no matter how challenging.

Powered by a Kubota diesel engine, the Frontier 500X incorporates all the features and benefits of Lincoln Electric's Frontier 400X pipe model and Frontier 400X construction model. The result is a compact, quieter package that delivers reliable all-day power-whether at the jobsite or the campsite.

Auxiliary Power:
• Three-Phase: 20 kW Continuous / 21 kW Peak
• Single-Phase: 12 kW Continuous / 15 kW Peak

The Frontier 500X also includes a dedicated Pipe Mode, designed and field-tested by pipeline welders specifically for cellulosic root downhill pipe welding. This mode produces the iconic, smooth DC generator arc the cross-country pipe industry expects while providing enhanced control and consistent arc performance-from root to cap-across downhill, vertical down, and pipe welding applications.

DigFX™technology allows operators to fine-tune the arc for ideal puddle control, while the dynamic shorting response system automatically adjusts output to overcome short circuits caused by pipe variability. The result: improved puddle control and reduced spatter.

A rugged 7-inch digital display streamlines operation with memory functions, maintenance alerts, and PIN security. CrossLinc® Technology enables full control at the arc with no additional cables required, while Auto-Stop/Start helps reduce fuel consumption and engine wear.

• ArcLink™connector punch-out for optional kit installation-supports mechanized communication today and future capabilities.
