The City of Colorado Springs is inviting residents, community advocates and stakeholders to share their priorities for federal funding that supports affordable housing, homelessness prevention and neighborhood improvements. Two public hearings will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the City Administration Building, 30 S. Nevada Ave., Room 102, with options to participate virtually.
Community feedback will help inform the City's 2027 Annual Action Plan, which outlines how the City plans to use federal block grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address the needs of low- and moderate-income residents.
The funding supports programs and projects related to affordable housing, homelessness prevention, nonprofit assistance and neighborhood infrastructure improvements. The City's federal grants include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).
Residents are encouraged to share their experiences, identify community needs and provide input on where these resources could make a difference.

Both hearings will be held in person and online. Attendance is free.
