Bataan Memorial Grade 1 Discovers the Science of Medical Systems

Bataan Memorial Elementary's Grade 1 team brought the various systems of the human body to life with a Knowledge Collaboration Lesson that had students enthusiastically exploring the nervous, muscular, digestive, skeletal and circulatory systems. The collaborative learning experience was filled with discovery and wonder, made possible by the generous support of Magruder Hospital, which donated supplies for the engaging lessons.

Bataan Memorial's grade 1 team divided the lessons and students rotated between the classrooms for the lessons. Ana Kouts guided students through the nervous system, Grant Gallagher taught the muscular system, Olivia Crabtree covered the digestive system, Maggie Hanna instructed on the skeletal system and Stephanie Sebom led students through the circulatory system.
