Consul & Head of Post of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag Li Xiaoyan Meets with Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba

On August 14, 2026, Consul & Head of Post Li Xiaoyan of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag met with Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba in Batac City, Ilocos Norte.

Consul Li expressed her gratitude to Cong. Barba for his longstanding support for the consulate's work and his care for local exchanges and cooperation between China and the Philippines. She welcomed Cong. Barba to lead more congressmen and congresswomen from the Northern Luzon region to visit various parts of China, so as to cement the traditional friendship between the two countries through friendly cooperation.
Cong.
