Weekly Traffic Impact Report Week of March 27, 2025

J.M. Pike Park Storm Water to Sanitary Sewer Cross Connection and Water Main

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of April 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Crews will be working:

  • Lane Shift on Cecil Way between Amherst Avenue and Mills Avenue on Monday 3/31
  • Lane Shift on Princeton Avenue between Carver Road and Kearney Avenue on Tuesday 4/1
  • Lane Shift on Haney Avenue between 9th Street and Princeton Avenue on Tuesday 4/1
  • Lane Shift on Leonard Avenue between Haney Avenue and Kearney Avenue on Tuesday 4/1
  • Lane Shift on Leonard Avenue between Kearney Avenue and Tully Road on Wednesday 4/2
  • Lane Shift on Louise Avenue between Kearney Avenue and Del Rey Avenue on Wednesday 4/2
  • Lane Shift on Del Rey Avenue between Louise Avenue and Princeton Avenue on Wednesday 4/2
  • Lane Shift on Del Vista Avenue between Del Vale Avenue and Cecil Way on Thursday 4/3

La Loma Sewer Phase 1

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will consist of lane shifts, flaggers, road closures and detours.

  • Burney Street is now open from G Street to Scenic Drive
  • Crews working on Alley between Downey Street & Roe De Yoe. Expect closures and detours.
  • James Street between Kelley Street to G Street

Including the following residential streets:

  • North Morton Boulevard & Rou De Yoe - Moose Park area.
  • Walden Street, Lane Street, Loma Vista Way, Brook Way, and State Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Upgrade Traffic Signals

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control in place, lane closures, and closing sidewalks as needed.

  • Intersection of 17th Street & I Street on Tuesday 4/22/2025 lane closures starting at 7:00 a.m. for day work.
  • Intersection of 12th Street & G Street on Wednesday 4/23/2025 lane closures starting at 7:00 a.m. for day work.
  • Intersection of Blue Gum Avenue and Carpenter Road on Thursday 4/24/2025 lane closures starting at 9:00 p.m. for night work.

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Well Treatment and Flushline

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control in place, flaggers, lane, and sidewalk closures as needed.

  • South Street in the community of Empire

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Installation of HAWK Pedestrian Crossing

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of April 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closures periodically. Sidewalk closures as needed.

  • 16th Street and H Street
  • 16th Street and I Street

Woodland Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by January 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.
