Upcoming Nighttime Lane Restrictions Near Santan Village Parkway and SR-202
Gilbert, Ariz. - Beginning July 31 and continuing for approximately four weeks, nighttime lane restrictions will be in place at Santan Village Parkway and the SR-202 Loop. Both the northbound and southbound travel lanes on Santan Village Parkway will be reduced to two lanes, and the SR-202 Loop exit ramp will be restricted nightly from 9 PM to 5 AM.
These closures support an active Capital Improvement Project designed to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area, a location that often experiences backups during peak times due to a nearby school and a single-lane freeway entrance ramp. The project will add another left-turn lane for northbound traffic at the intersection of the freeway and Santan Village Parkway.
