CFRI Early Career Physician Scientist Development Grant
The Children's Foundation Research Institute at Le Bonheur is accepting applications for the Early Career Physician Scientist Development Grant for 2026.
Eligible junior faculty at UTHSC must be <5 years out of training, based at Le Bonheur, and interested in pursuing pediatric research. No adult studies will be considered.
This award is generously supported by the Children's Foundation of Memphis and includes:
- One year of funding (20% salary support up to $30,000) protected time for research
- Additional $30,000 may be requested to support personnel costs, supplies, and approved equipment
- Grants may be renewed twice for a total of 3 years of funding
Grants selected for funding will have a start date of July 1, 2026.
