Event Cancellation Notice: “The 6th Street Sessions” – Final Session

November 6, 2025 - ROCHESTER, MINN - Due to predicted weather conditions not suitable for a walking tour, the City of Rochester is canceling the Interactive Project Site Tour originally scheduled for this Saturday, November 8 from 10 a.m. to noon.

This session was the final event in "The 6th Street Sessions," a series of community conversations focused on the 6th Street Bridge, Neighborhood Safety and Riverside Improvement Project. While this weekend's tour is canceled, it will be rescheduled for spring 2026, when weather conditions are more favorable.

Community members are encouraged to visit the 6th Street Bridge, Neighborhood Safety & Riverfront Improvement project website to:

  • Watch past virtual sessions (The Bridge, Streetscape and Riverfront Amenities)
  • Sign up for the project newsletter to receive updates and be notified when the walking tour is rescheduled.

This project is funded in partnership with Destination Medical Center Economic Development Agency (DMC-EDA), the Minnesota Department of Transportation and a Federal Raise Grant.
