BERLIN - May 18, 2026 - Greenberg Traurig has advised PROSOZ Herten Software Development and Consulting Company for Municipalities, Cities, and Counties mbH on its merger with OTS Informationstechnologie GmbH. PROSOZ Herten, which has approximately 650 employees, is a market leader in the development of municipal social welfare software and related specialized applications.
OTS is a subsidiary of the Institute for Municipal Data Processing in Bavaria (AKDB Group). The company offers digital solutions for the public sector, focusing on the construction and social services sectors. The AKDB Group develops technologies in the areas of artificial intelligence, business intelligence, and cloud services for municipalities and public institutions.
PROSOZ acquired all of OTS' products and employees as part of the merger under the German Transformation Act, strengthening the company's foundation for growth in the digitization of municipal administration.
