Israel: Israel Invites Public Comments on Changes to EU Directive No 396-2005 on MRLs

On July 22, 2025, the Israeli Ministry of Justice and the Israeli Ministry of Health issued a request for public comments on proposed changes to the Annex of European Union Directive 396/2005. These changes, which amend the regulation governing maximum residue levels (MRLs) for pesticides in food and feed of plant and animal origin, were previously published for public comments on February 5, 2025. The current publication, which has not been notified to the World Trade Organization, is open for public comments until August 4, 2025, at 23:59 (Israel Standard Time).
