COUNTRY Financial is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025 with a year-long exhibit at the McLean County Museum of History. The exhibit includes details of the company's history and artifacts from the Illinois Farm Bureau archives.
COUNTRY is also sponsoring Free Tuesdays at the museum for the community for the entire year, hosting a lunch n' learn event on October 9, and offering a free public program with Museum Librarian Bill Kemp on September 16.
"We are excited to celebrate this incredible milestone with the McLean County community, our clients, representatives and employees," said COUNTRY Financial CEO Jim Jacobs. "Very few companies have the distinction of being able to celebrate a moment like this. COUNTRY Financial came from humble roots, started by Illinois farmers in 1925, and today serves clients in 19 states. We hope visitors to the museum will enjoy learning how the company has grown into what it is today."
"Farming is so much more than a vocation," said Julie Emig, Executive Director of the McLean County Museum of History. "It's a way of life. And for 100 years, COUNTRY Financial has been in the business of protecting and supporting the agricultural community of McLean County and beyond. We are honored that COUNTRY Financial has entrusted us to help share their story in commemoration of this milestone."
