Alex Spencer, a 19-year-old indie artist from Manchester is establishing himself as one of the UK's most exciting new voices. Known for sharp songwriting, raw honesty and electric live energy, he first gained attention busking on the streets before earning support from BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Radio X and then a global audience when his single 'Nightmares' featured on the EA SPORTS FC25 game soundtrack, and Alex supported One Direction star Louis Tomlinson across European arenas earlier this year. Following 2025's EP 'Where Do We Go From Here?' he has released new music including 'Masks and Farewell to Forever' offering an early glimpse into his forthcoming EP. His 2026 headline tour sold out, including a joyous show at Manchester Academy 2, continuing a rapid ascent that has seen him pack venues across the country.
The Allergies and Alex Spencer will be joined at Rochdale Feel Good Festival by the previously announced headliners - pop and soul icon Gabrielle, rock band Ash, and Starsailor, with more to be revealed, together with live music across indoor venues, a food and drink village and other entertainment.
