Fall Brush & Yard Waste Collection

Free Brush & Compost Facility Weekend

Residents may dispose of yard waste at the Brush & Compost Facility free of charge on November 15th and 16th. If weather conditions prevent the site from opening, the free weekend will be rescheduled for the following weekend. For facility hours and directions, visit the Brush & Compost Facility webpage.

Curbside Yard Waste Collection

Public Services will offer free curbside collection of brush and yard waste the week of November 17th.

Residents may set out bundled brush and bagged yard waste on their regular trash collection day. Items must be placed within four feet of the curb and out by 7:00 am on collection day.

Yard Waste (leaves, garden waste, grass clippings):

  • Place in compostable paper bags (up to 30 gallons, 40 lbs. max) or 32-gallon garbage cans (60 lbs. max)
  • Plastic bags will not be collected
  • Limit of 20 bags or cans per residence

Brush and Limbs:

  • Bundle with twine or string (wire bundles will not be collected)
  • Bundles must be no longer than 4 feet, weigh no more than 60 lbs., and limbs may be up to 4 inches in diameter
  • Limit of 10 bundles per residence
