LIIF Announces Completion of Promise All Atlanta Children Thrive (PAACT) Repair and Renovation Grant Program

LIIF's ECE team is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Promise All Atlanta Children Thrive (PAACT) Repair and Renovation Grant Program in Atlanta, Georgia!

Since 2022, LIIF has partnered with this citywide alliance to improve early childhood outcomes through collaborative, community-led solutions. Together with local partners, LIIF helped administer the deployment of $5 million in funds to repair and renovate 'Quality Rated' child care facilities in the City of Atlanta. For child care centers and family child care homes, the program provided grants of up to $75,000 for facilities repairs and renovations.

Additionally, LIIF and partner organizations provided technical assistance to 45 child care grantees and distributed $3.8 million in project funding for facilities improvement projects like playground renovations, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, ceiling, roof and flooring replacements and HVAC repairs - ultimately benefitting over 3,100 young children.

Partners included Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta (CFGA), GEEARS (Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students), the Reinvestment Fund, and PFCCAG (Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia). LIIF also partnered with Quality Care for Children (QCC) to provide financial reviews and business support to grantees.

For child care centers and family child care homes, the program provided grants of up to $75,000 for facilities repairs and renovations.
