Discounts available for the whole family, plus the cost of a vehicle
WASHINGTON - Amtrak guests can pack their bags and vehicles, eliminate nearly 900 miles of stressful driving on I-95, and save on their travel with the new Auto Train Flash Sale. Starting Wednesday, Nov. 20, through Wednesday, Nov. 27, Coach Class tickets are available for as low as $39 for adults, plus the cost of a vehicle. In addition, customers traveling with their family can book tickets for children ages 2-12 for 50% off.
The offer is valid for travel from Sanford, FL, to Lorton, VA, between Monday, December 2 and Wednesday, March 26, 2025, and for travel from Lorton, VA, to Sanford, FL, between Thursday, January 16, and Monday, June 30, 2025.

To help customers avoid rush hour when traveling to the station, Amtrak has adjusted its Auto Train schedule by offering an earlier departure time. From both Lorton, VA, and Sanford, FL, the train will now depart at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. and is scheduled to arrive the next day at 8:59 a.m.
The Auto Train offers daily, non-stop service offering guests the unique opportunity to travel with several types of vehicles - including cars, vans, motorcycles, SUVs, small boats, jet skis and more. This is the only such service in the U.S. and allows customers the convenience of having a vehicle at their destination and traveling by train is one of the most efficient modes of transportation.
For extra comfort and privacy, customers can book a First Class private room - offering priority boarding, complimentary meals onboard, a dedicated First Class attendant, and newly upgraded bedding, pillows, towels, and linens. Accommodation options include a Roomette - featuring two comfortable seats that transform into upper and lower beds by night - or a Bedroom offering twice the space of a Roomette as well as an in-room sink, restroom, and shower.
Customers traveling in Coach Class enjoy wide, comfortable reclining seats with plenty of legroom, no middle seats, and a big picture window to enjoy the view. Cafe Service is available for customers to purchase meals, snacks, and beverages. Prior to arrival, a complimentary continental breakfast is served.
