STATEMENT: Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester Releases Statement on Israeli Strikes on Iran

Washington, DC - Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) released the following statement:

"Israel's latest military operation against Iran is concerning. First and foremost, I am praying for the men and women stationed overseas, for their families, and for the civilians impacted by this strike. Israel striking unilaterally during the Trump administration's nuclear agreement negotiations is counterproductive and increases the risk of a full-scale regional war. I urge Prime Minister Netanyahu to show restraint and avoid escalation. Alongside our regional partners, we must remain committed to finding a diplomatic solution and work toward a path of safety and stability."
