As we approach the warm, spring months, fluctuating weather conditions can become more common. Severe Weather Awareness Week is Sunday, March 15 through Saturday, March 21, which is a great time to review safety guidelines for various types of weather conditions. Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security (FCEM&HS) will implement the annual statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 18 at 9:50 a.m. The five-minute drill presents an opportunity for community members to prepare for tornadoes, which are considered a top weather-related risk in central Ohio, according to FCEM&HS.
