CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT KC) is seeking public input regarding the Missouri Route 291 Corridor Upgrades in Clay County project. The comment period opened at 4 pm on Thursday, September 17th. The public is invited to leave questions and comments on the project webpage. A public hearing on the project was held on Thursday, September 17th at the Woodneath Public Library.
The purpose of this project is to add more capacity along Missouri Route 291 for increased traffic volumes. This project will widen Missouri Route 291 from Overton Street to just north of NE 104th Street and upgrade signals at Flintlock Road.
