SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Penn State Altoona women's swimming student-athlete Victoria Oldford, of Bucks County, earned a spot on the third team of the State University of New York Athletic Conference's (SUNYAC) all-conference squad, thanks to her performance during the league championship meet in Feb.

The SUNYAC's swimming all-conference teams are determined by student-athletes' finishes in events during the conference championships, which ran from Feb. 18 to 21 in Buffalo, N.Y.

Oldford clinched her spot on the third team of the All-SUNYAC squad when she came in third place in the 100 Yard Breaststroke during night three of the conference championships on Feb. 20. She finished the race in 1:08.82, a time that set a new Penn State Altoona women's swimming record in that event.

Women's swimming placed fifth in the SUNYAC Championships, scoring 318 points during the four-day meet.
