Hageman Staff Are Bringing Congress to Your Community

CHEYENNE, WY - Congresswoman Harriet Hageman's staff is traveling across Wyoming to bring congressional expertise directly to constituents, including dedicated office hours for veterans and active-duty servicemembers. These visits offer residents hands-on assistance to navigate the complex matrix of federal agencies and are critical for elevating community issues to the federal radar.

Congress in Your Community

Since Rep. Hageman took office in 2023, her office has resolved nearly 5,000 individual cases, returning more than $15.6 million in funds, benefits, reimbursements, and corrections to hardworking Wyomingites. Congress in Your Community events deliver a chance for more constituents to connect and resolve additional casework.

Wyoming residents who need support related to the IRS, ATF, VA, Department of the Interior, Social Security Administration, or any other federal agency are encouraged to either attend one of the following office hours below or reach out to Rep. Hageman's office directly. Schedule an appointment with her staff here or by calling 307-261-6595. Exact addresses will be provided once meeting times are confirmed.

Veterans Mobile Office Hours

Separate office hours are being held specifically for America's current and former servicemembers. Veterans or active-duty military constituents facing issues with the VA, DFAS, Department of War, or any other federal agency are encouraged to either meet with a member of Rep. Hageman's staff at one of the events below or reach out to the office directly.

Rep. Hageman's team has closed 781 cases with the VA, 38 with the Veterans Benefits Administration, 37 with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, and 37 with the National Guard. Her direct oversight of the Sheridan VA, including a site visit with the House Veterans Affairs Committee, compelled the facility to hire additional personnel and address the community care backlog.

Rep. Hageman also co-led the VALID Act to expand veterans' access to VA Home Loans, fought to protect veterans' Second Amendment rights by blocking the VA from reporting veterans to the FBI's NICS without a court order, and championed the Veterans Health Care Freedom Act to give veterans more control over where they receive care.

Rep. Hageman has been a tireless advocate for Wyoming's current and former military servicemembers in Washington and at home. Schedule an appointment with her staff here or by calling 307-261-6595. Exact addresses will be provided once meeting times are confirmed.
