Motorola Solutions Opens New R&D and Customer Experience Center in Plantation, Florida

Technology solutions accelerate innovation for first responders and help make communities, schools and businesses safer

CHICAGO - April 15, 2026 - Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) has announced the opening of its modernized R&D and Customer Experience Center in Plantation, Florida, focused on design, development and testing for its land mobile radio (LMR) product portfolio. The devices and accessories developed at the center will continue to help increase the safety and efficiency of first responders and enterprise security teams across the world.

The new facility extends the presence Motorola Solutions has maintained in the region for 50 years, with employee roles spanning design, engineering and test labs dedicated to advancing innovation in LMR that perform in the harshest conditions and are proven to help teams stay connected and communicate with clarity.
