Taking into account:

- the European Annual Asylum and Migration Report (2025);

- the Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/2642 of 19 December 2025 on the establishment of the Annual Solidarity Pool for 2026;

- reports that Portugal has voted against this decision and requested to have its migratory situation reevaluated;

I would like the Commission to answer the following questions.

  • 1.Can it confirm Portugal has requested a revaluation of its migratory situation?
  • 2.If so, when does the Commission plan to finalise this evaluation?
  • 3.What is the planned timetable for the publication of an updated Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/2642 in the Official Journal?
