On January 14, in Washington D.C., Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with U.S. Congressmen Frank Pallone and David G. Valadao, the Co-Chairs of the Congressional Armenian Caucus.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of signing the Strategic Partnership Charter between the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America, which aims to further strengthen relations between the two countries, expand cooperation, and provide new opportunities for strengthening Armenia's resilience and promoting economic development.

Vahan Kostanyan highly appreciated the support provided by the U.S. to Armenia, stressing Armenia's readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation with the new administration and implement the goals of the Strategic Partnership Charter. The bipartisan support of the U.S. legislature for deepening relations with Armenia was highlighted.

The Deputy Minister also briefed the interlocutors on the security situation in the South Caucasus, the challenges on the way to establishing peace, as well as the efforts and the vision of the Government of Armenian aimed at overcoming them.
