Downtown Library Early Closure: Saturday, August 16, 2025

The Downtown Hayward Branch will close early on Saturday, August 16 at 2:00 pm in order to celebrate the reopening of Weekes Branch in South Hayward with a formal Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Saturday, August 16, from 3:00-5:00 PM. Learn more here.
Regular business hours will resume at both branches on Monday, August 18. Online check-outs of books, movies and more are available via our digital library here.
