Multi-currency card for companies in Bank Millennium – full control over foreign payments

Bank Millennium has extended its offer for corporate banking customers by introducing a multi-currency function to the VISA Executive debit card. It allows you to make payments directly from foreign currency accounts, without the need for currency conversion. This is a response to the needs of entrepreneurs operating internationally and making transactions in different currencies, who expect convenient and flexible payment tools.

- One of the key elements of our strategy in the area of corporate banking is to provide entrepreneurs with solutions that support their daily operations, increase operational efficiency and respond to the real needs of running a business in an international environment. The new multi-currency function is another step towards comprehensive, digital services for companies - says Magdalena Zmitrowicz, Member of the Management Board of Bank Millennium.

Companies can assign to one card one account maintained in each of the 14 currencies offered by Bank Millennium. A transaction made in a currency will be automatically settled from the account linked to the card in that currency, without currency conversion.

- The implementation of the multi-currency card is the result of intensive work of product, technology and operational teams. We wanted the solution to be not only functional, but also intuitive and very useful in everyday use. This is an example of how we combine innovation with a practical approach to transactional banking - says Marta Postek, Director of the Transactional Banking Department at Bank Millennium.

If the transaction is executed in a currency for which no account has been assigned to the card, or in a currency for which the assigned account does not have sufficient funds at the time of authorisation, the transaction will be settled from the basic account in PLN, in accordance with the current currency conversion rules.
