Rancho Cordova Connects the Pieces for a Bright and Innovative Future

Rancho Cordova showcased its innovation, community spirit, and vision for the future during the 2025 State of the City: "Big Picture, Bright Future," held this week, November 5, at the Marriott Rancho Cordova.

Hosted by the Cordova Community Council and the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the City, this year's event marked the first time the State of the City was held at the Marriott Rancho Cordova, drawing a packed crowd of residents, business leaders, and community partners.

Mayor Siri Pulipati shared the city's biggest accomplishments and unveiled the first-ever Rancho Cordova Puzzle alongside world-renowned artist Eric Dowdle, celebrating the creativity and connection that define the community.

During her remarks, Mayor Pulipati highlighted Rancho Cordova's record-setting progress, including a 30% reduction in property crime, $47.8 million invested in infrastructure, and major milestones in two transformational projects - the Cordova Arena and the region's only AI and Robotics Ecosystem. She also emphasized the city's continued leadership as one of California's top five fastest-growing cities.

The event opened with a performance by the River City Concert Band, followed by a video presentation spotlighting key achievements and a look ahead at the city's future. Attendees also received a first look at the new Rancho Cordova puzzle artwork, which captures iconic scenes and the city's vibrant community life.

"Rancho Cordova's story is one of connection - between neighborhoods, innovation, and people," said Mayor Pulipati. "Each piece represents the heart and energy that make our city shine brighter every year."

The State of the City is an annual celebration of progress, collaboration, and community pride - and this year's event underscored Rancho Cordova's continued commitment to innovation, connection, and smart growth.
