São Paulo, July 1 - Netflix has released the official trailer for Wrath , a new Brazilian series premiering July 29 that dives into the high-stakes world of MMA to tell a story of rivalry and buried secrets. In the trailer, Marcelo (Vinicius Neri) is introduced as a man rescued from the brink of death by a martial arts coach. With no memory of who he is, he is given the name Marcelo and a new purpose - to make a name for himself in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). As he uncovers more about his past, Marcelo finds himself entangled in a web of crimes and secrets that could put both his life and his coach's at risk. While searching for answers about who he really is, he must also deal with a growing rivalry with Júnior Malamute (MC Cabelinho), an opponent who pushes him to his limits both inside and outside the octagon.
The cast also includes Fábio Lago, Alice Carvalho, Bianca Comparato, Claudia Raia, Eduardo Moscovis, Babu Santana, Kelner Macêdo, Camila Damião and Jonas Ponciano among others. In addition, the series features special appearances by prominent sports figures, including former champion Anderson Silva, who plays one of the characters.
