People & Culture Department Releases 2024-25 Annual Report

The City's People & Culture Department has released its 2024-25 Impact Report, showcasing a year of innovation, employee wellness initiatives, and people-centered support. The report celebrates how the department strives to put employees first and build a stronger, healthier workplace. Read the report online.

From launching artificial intelligence-powered tools to streamlining performance reviews, the department embraced technology to make services faster, more accessible, and employee-focused. Wellness initiatives included the introduction of personal observance leave, a new wellness premium incentive, and the reopening of the City's Acute Care Clinic. Other highlights include the new Realizing Empowerment by Achieving Challenging Heights (R.E.A.C.H.) Professional Development Day and staff volunteer efforts.

"We strengthened our commitment to being a people-centered department by listening to employee needs and building programs that reflect them," said People and Culture Executive Director Jamiah Waterman.
