PHILADELPHIA (October 13, 2025) - Exelon (Nasdaq: EXC), one of the nation's largest utility companies, rang the opening bell at the Nasdaq MarketSite today in Times Square to commemorate the company's 25th anniversary. To celebrate the anniversary, PECO is highlighting the progress and partnerships that are strengthening reliability, affordability, and community resilience for the 1.7 million electric and more than 550,000 natural gas customers it serves across southeastern Pennsylvania.
Exelon President and CEO Calvin Butler was joined at the ceremony by several long-serving employees who have been with Exelon for 25 years, representing the dedication and resilience that have powered the company forward, as well as members of Exelon's Executive Committee, including David Vahos, PECO President and CEO.
PECO served as one of two founding companies of Exelon when it merged with Unicom in 2000.
"For 25 years, PECO has proudly contributed to Exelon's legacy of innovation, reliability, and community partnership," said Vahos.
