This event is a joint venture between Winthrop's English and Music departments. Faculty and students from each department will share music and poetry by female composers and authors to celebrate Women's History Month.

Jennifer Dixon-McKnight, associate history professor, will give an author talk and sign her new book, "We Paved the Way: Black Women and the Charleston Hospital Workers' campaign."

This will be a Women's History Month-themed panel centered around the history of the Divine Nine sororities. Professional attire required.

Joanna Norman, assistant management professor, will talk about women's history in the workplace. Then, the Center for Career Development and Internships' Tammy Eason and Kenya Ratliff, both career coaches, will share helpful information about women's professional attire.

The Alumni Association and the Louise Pettus Archives and Special Collections will host Women's History Trivia on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom to test your knowledge about Winthrop's rich history of groundbreaking women and historical facts.
