Turkish Naval Ship TCG BÜYÜKADA arrives in Colombo

The Turkish Naval Ship TCG BÜYÜKADA arrived at the Port of Colombo on a formal visit this morning (13 Jun 25). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.

TCG BÜYÜKADA is a 99.56m long Corvette commanded by Lieutenant Commander Anil BİLGİN. Meanwhile, the ship is manned by a crew of 147.

During the ship's stay in Colombo, its crew members will visit some of the tourist attractions of the country and take part in several programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Navy, with a view to further strengthen camaraderie between two navies.

Concluding her visit, TCG BÜYÜKADA will leave the island on 16 Jun and conduct a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with a ship of the Sri Lanka Navy in Colombo seas, on her departure.
