Baker McKenzie advises Wipro on acquisition of Mindsprint from Olam Group

Baker McKenzie has advised Wipro Limited, a leading listed Indian multinational company, on its acquisition of IT and digital services business Mindsprint from the Olam Group.

The Olam Group is a leading food and agribusiness enterprise headquartered in Singapore and majority-owned by Temasek Holdings. Mindsprint is the Olam Group's IT services unit, headquartered in Singapore, with operations across Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia, the UK, the US, Malaysia and Australia.

The deal size is USD 375 million, subject to customary post-closing adjustments. This transaction forms part of Wipro's multi year strategic transformation engagement with the Olam Group, which is expected to exceed USD 1 billion in total contract value. The sale and purchase agreement was signed 5 April 2026, with closing expected within the next two months, subject to merger control filing and other customary conditions.
The combination of Mindsprint's deep domain expertise and IP-led solutions with Wipro's consulting-led and AI-powered capabilities is expected to unlock growth opportunities, drive innovation, and deliver market ready transformation for Olam Group and Wipro's global clients across the industry.
